„Porque Tango“ can be translated in two ways – both as a question and as an answer...

Porque tango  was the first tango ensemble in Slovakia. During its existence it performed around 200 concerts in Slovakia and abroad (Czech Republic, Austria, France, Hungary, Germany) and  became one of the well known tango orchestras in Central Europe. In 2010 the ensemble released a CD named Porque Tango presents Astor Piazzolla. Porque Tango plays Argentine tango in its most diverse forms. Musical repertoire of Porque Tango includes nostalgic, intimate as well as entertainment compositions (milonga), which are interpreted both in their traditional (compositions of Troilo, Di Sarli, Rodríguez, Salgan, Laurenz,..) and concert form (compositions of Argentinean composer Astor Piazzolla).
